Welcome to one of the most beautiful dining rooms in Portland. Large windows, ivy-covered brick walls, and wine-bottle chandeliers will make your dining experience a memorable one. Vignola takes its name from a small town in Italy’s heartland known for its food culture. We focus on an authentic Italian experience and use the best seasonal ingredients, along with organic and naturally grown items from local Maine farmers, suppliers, and producers. In addition, Vignola grows much of its own produce on Grand View Farm in Greene, Maine. The farm belongs to restaurant owners Dan Kary and Michelle Mazur-Kary, and is maintained by Chef Lee Skawinski and his entire staff.
Our wine and beer selection showcases varieties from around the world that are not easily available anywhere else in New England. They are carefully selected to complement both our dinner menu and our extensive cheese selections. At Vignola, the staff really looks forward to sharing these ‘secret finds.’
