One of the goals of the age-friendly
communities initiative is to make outdoor spaces
more inclusive for people of all ages. Spanning the
Androscoggin River, this bridge is a part of the Bethel
Pathway, which serves as a snowmobile, cross-country
ski, and snowshoe trail in the winter and a walking path
for the rest of the year.
