Running Into Yourself

Amy Laflamme says she grew up as “The Fat Kid,” once weighing over 200 pounds at 5’6″. Now at 144 pounds, she says, “I want people to know that if I can run, they can run. I always felt like I couldn’t, that I just wasn’t ‘a runner.’ It was all in my head. Running doesn’t have to be about speed or distance, it can just be about moving. And some days it just feels so good to move.”
