Greater Portland Landmarks, Mid Mod House Gala

Greater Portland Landmarks hosted a Mid Mod House Gala, a celebration of mid-century modern architecture and culture, inspired by the early 1960s. The event was held at the Edward and Patricia Golodetz House on Baxter Boulevard. Period food, music, and dancing (!) with tours of a classic 1961 home, surprises through the evening, a rousing live auction led by Kaja Veilleux of Thomaston Place Auction Galleries, and a playlist of favorites for those who want to dance "holes in their soles!"

Greater Portland Landmarks’ mission is to preserve and revitalize Greater Portland’s remarkable legacy of historic buildings, neighborhoods, landscapes and parks.
