Kate Beever, music therapist

Kate Beever

Kate Beever is a board certified music therapist with a masters in music therapy from New York University. Originally from Gorham, Maine, She studied at the USM  School of Music and then worked for Frank Glazer before moving to New York City.

Kate returned to the fresh air of Maine to open Maine Music & Health. She has experience working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities including autism, physical disabilities including cerebral palsy and asthma, infants in the ICU, adults with COPD and other respiratory disorders, oncology patients of all ages, and older adults.   Kate presents at conferences and facilitates group and individual sessions while keeping an active performing schedule as a pianist and percussionist. She is also a trained REMO HealthRhythms facilitator. Kate does music therapy outreach and works with individual clients at 317 Main Street.

Amy Kuhn, Development Director at 317 Main Street Community Music Center

Amy Kuhn

Amy Kuhn has been Development Director at 317 Main since January 2011. Prior to coming to 317, she worked as a fundraising consultant and grant writer for a variety of area nonprofits.

John Williams, Executive Director of 317 Main Street Community Music Center

John Williams

John Williams is the Executive Director of 317 Main Street Community Music Center. Prior to becoming Executive Director in November 2009, John worked as an environmental sustainability consultant. He served as Board Chair at 317 when the organization was founded in 2004 until 2009.
