Capture September 2022

At Land’s End at the closing of the Milky Way season, I waited patiently in the quiet of the night for the moon to set and our home galaxy to appear. Standing by the fisherman memorial dedicated to all the fishermen and -women who’ve devoted their lives to the sea, I watched as the sky fell into darkness revealing first Jupiter, then Saturn, and then the billions of stars above. Such a fun evening spent admiring the sky while listening to the sounds of the waves crashing against the craggy Maine coastline.
