A LIGHT ON THE POINT

Please join us for the 2017 A Light on the Point featuringrenowned Portland-area chefs from Central Provisions, David’s Restaurants, Evo, Lolita, Piccolo, Sur Lie, and UNION working with SMCC culinary arts students to create and prepare an array of light fare. The evening also includes a VIP cocktail reception – only 75 tickets available – featuring the area’s top mixologists from Portland Hunt & Alpine Club and Fore Street and oysters from Eventide.

A Light on the Point celebrates the many partners who help Southern Maine Community College students
earn college degrees, join the workforce, and become community leaders. Proceeds support SMCC students and the SMCC Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management programs.

The 2017 Light on the Point highlights SMCC’s Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Programs. Our special honoree for evening is the American Culinary Federation (ACF) Casco Bay Culinary Association for its long time support of SMCC students and the region’s culinary industry and entrepreneurs.

We hope to see you on November 8 to celebrate SMCC’s Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Programs and to honor the ACF Casco Bay Culinary Association and all of the community partners who support SMCC students.
