Strand Theatre Presents: The Wiyos

The Wiyos (Michael Farkas, Teddy Weber and “Sauerkraut” Seth Travins) play and compose Old-Timey American music inspired by the early American musical styles of the 1920s and ’30s, exhuberantly mixing together Vaudevillian, Ragtime, Jugband, Blues, and Hillbilly Swing!

Portland Stage Company: Play Me a Story

Philharmonia Quartett Berlin

The Philharmonia Quartett Berlin, composed of principal players of the legendary Berlin Philharmonic, enjoys a celebrated and critically acclaimed career, establishing itself among the world’s premier string quartets with over two decades of international concerts and a large and diverse discography. Returning to our stage for the first time in nearly 15 years, the quartet’s versatile and adventurous repertoire now includes over 100 pieces spanning from the classical period to the 20th century.

Mary’s Walk

Mary’s Walk began in 1999 as a unique way to recognize and remember Mary Kerry Libby, a much-loved member of the Saco-Biddeford community who passed away from Burkitt’s Lymphoma. What started as a simple memorial stroll through town with a few hundred people has evolved into a major community effort.
