The Reverend Christopher “Kit” Sherrill, now 82, led his first service at All Saints-by-the-Sea in the summer of 1968. He has
since performed hundreds of services at the chapel, including
baptisms, weddings, funerals, and since he and his wife retired to Southport Island, an annual candlelit Christmas Eve service.
