On our first visit to Baxter State Park, my two younger brothers and I hiked the Helon Taylor, Knife Edge, Saddle, and Chimney Pond Trails to summit Mount Katahdin as a loop. I usually bring my camera when I’m doing outdoor activities to capture the moments and landscapes, and as we gained elevation towards Knife Edge, the clouds were rolling across Helon Taylor. I waited till my brothers both got ahead of me and snapped a shot to have subjects in the frame while the clouds floated near the trail.
