Union at the Press Hotel is doing takeout, offering three-course, family-style comfort food meals for two, $49 or four, $68. Every meal purchased will also provide a grab-and-go lunch for Maine Medical Center employees. See the restaurant’s Instagram for ordering instructions, and the menu, which will change daily, here.

The takeout menu at Primo in Rockland changes daily (check Facebook), and tonight is pizza night. There are also fried chicken drumsticks, sweet and spicy chili, pork cannelloni, peanut butter pie, chocolate budino, and more. Order from 11 a.m.-5:45 p.m. for pickup from 3 pm.-6 p.m.

Salvage BBQ and Smokehouse in Portland has contact-free curbside pickup and delivery of its tasty barbecue, sides, beer, and wine Tuesday through Saturday from noon-9 p.m. Call 207-553-2100 to order and pay over the phone. Delivery limited to the area bordered by State Street, Westgate, and the Woodfords/Brighton intersection.

Sweet pea hummus, lamb bolognese, and coconut rice pudding are just a few of the dishes on the takeout menu at Sur Lie in Portland. Order online for pickup Tuesday through Saturday from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. Also available through 2DineIn.

The Good Table in Cape Elizabeth has take-and-bake mac and cheese, pulled pork, and turkey dinner, plus salads, apple pie, and on Fridays, ready to eat Prime Rib. Call between noon-3 p.m., pick up from 4 p.m.-6 p.m.

In addition to beer, the Pub at Baxter in Lewiston has some serious comfort food on its pickup menu, including the Baxter Mash Bowl: garlic mashed potatoes, smoked cheddar, popcorn chicken, brown beer gravy, and roasted corn. Order online for pickup Monday through Friday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Beer pickup only on Saturdays.

Water Street Kitchen and Bar in Wiscasset (the former Le Garage) is offering curbside pickup and delivery within five miles from 11:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. A few items from the menu: kale and pistachio salad, fresh fettuccine Bolognese, and broiled haddock with broccolini.

Luke’s Lobster in Portland curbside pickup, as well as has ready-to-eat lobster rolls for $15 and DIY kits with everything you need to make two lobster rolls at home for $30. You can also purchase a kit to donate to local healthcare workers. Call 207-274-6097 to order. Luke’s has also launched its e-commerce platform, which offers lobster meat, lobster bisque, and more.

As the only restaurant still in operation on the mountain, Alice and Lulu’s in Sugarloaf Village has a selection of prepared meals, as well as tasty “survival kits” of everyday essentials plus treats for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A new menu will be available on Monday, March 23 for pickup and limited local delivery Tuesday through Saturday from 2 p.m.-4 p.m.

Lazzari in Portland is open from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. for curbside pickup and delivery of antipasti, small plates, pizza, and calzones, plus beer and wine. For Mexican food, its sister restaurant, Taco Escobarr, has enchilada and taco dinners, bake-at-home nachos, their house margarita mix, and more.

Duffy’s Tavern and Grill in Kennebunk is offering an ala carte menu and family-style takeout meals Tuesday through Saturday from noon-7 p.m. Family-style dinners, which come with focaccia and salad, include garlic meatloaf with mashed potatoes and butternut squash, and chicken Parmesan with fettuccine. Order online or through the Toast app.

Sister restaurants Royal River Grill House in Yarmouth, Tuscan Brick Oven Bistro in Freeport, and Tuscan Table in South Portland, are all offering large menus, beer, and wine for takeout daily from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Free delivery is also available; check the individual location for details.

Maiz Colombian Street Food in Portland has its full menu available for takeout as well as trays of arepas, arepitas, and pan de bono for you to cook off at home.

A Colby College favorite for two decades, Pad Thai Too in Waterville is offering their menu of Thai classics, including many vegetarian and vegan dishes, for takeout and delivery. Call-in orders only (no walk-ins). Open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 4 p.m.-7 p.m.

You can still take in the beautiful end-of-Bailey Island view when you pick up your order at Cook’s Lobster and Ale House, open Friday through Sunday. The large takeout menu includes plenty of seafood and a burger and beer special for $15, plus $10 bottles of wine and craft beers for $5. As a bonus, for every $40 you spend, Cook’s will give you a $10 gift card to use when they get back to full operation.

At Provender Kitchen and Bar in Ellsworth, chef Daron Goldstein is preparing comfort food dishes and family meals for curbside pickup. Hi s menu changes daily, and could include braised short rib ragout with creamy mascarpone polenta, buffalo chicken mac and cheese or gnocchi bolognese. Call 207-610-1480 for the day’s offerings.

Batson River Brewing and Distilling in Kennebunk has set up an outdoor pizza oven (borrowed from Noble BBQ, which is taking a spring break) to offer wood-fired pizza and beer to go.

The Carriage House in East Boothbay is open for takeout from noon-6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Chef Kelly Farrin’s menu includes a spicy chicken sandwich, fish and chips, and haddock or beef tacos, plus specials.

Bingas Wingas in Yarmouth has takeout wings, barbecue, and more from 4 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Call 207-846-8736 and pay over the phone; they will walk your order out to your car. Four-packs or single beers are also available.

Seafood chowder, lasagna with sweet Italian sausage, and Cajun haddock with pineapple salsa are a few of the items on the curbside-to-go dinner menu at the Courtyard Cafe in Houlton. Call 207-532-0787 and they will bring your order out to your car.

The Nook at Handy’s in Yarmouth is a great spot for a breakfast sandwich (we love the morning BAAT—over easy egg, avocado smash, arugula, spinach, tomato, hickory bacon on Botto’s toasted sourdough), wraps, and coffee. Handy’s shares space with Otto Pizza, which is offering touchless delivery and mobile pickup at all of its locations in Portland, S. Portland, Yarmouth, and Saco.

The Buxton Common in Buxton has comfort-food dinners such as fried chicken and smoked meatloaf with sides for $15 per person to pickup from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Delivery is available within a 10-mile radius, with a minimum order for 4 people and a $5 delivery charge.

Sea Glass at Inn by the Sea in Cape Elizabeth has a daily menu of family-style dinners for $13 per person and bottles of wine for $16, as well as breakfast and an all-day takeout menu, which includes clam chowder, salads, and chef Andrew Chadwick’s famous Sea Glass Burger. Wines from their cellar and bottles of beer are 25 percent off across the board. Curbside pickup is available from 7 a.m.-8 p.m.

Bistro 233 in Yarmouth is offering curbside pickup daily from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. Favorites dishes include meatloaf cordon bleu, haddock tacos, crispy Brussels sprouts and steak frites. Bottles of wine are also available at deep discounts. They will be closed Monday, April 6th & Tuesday, April 7th. 

The Black Tie Company/Union Kitchen has a menu of breakfast items, salads and sandwiches, plus daily lunch and dinner specials for pickup and delivery, such as BBQ shrimp with cheesy grits and chili-lime corn, and local roasted lamb with sauteed greens and crispy chickpeas. All health care workers, first-responders, and industry peers receive 10 percent off.

You can’t bowl at 33 Elmwood in Westbrook, but you can order pizza, burgers, pupusas, whoopie pies, and more Thursday March 19 and Friday, March 20 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Starting Monday, March 23, the same menu will also be offered at lunch. Update: All packaged alcohol is available at 60 percent off.

Craving Mexican on MDI? El El Frijoles in Sargentville has its whole menu (with slight variations due to supply) available for take out on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Owners Michael and Michele Rossney are also turning out frozen burrito 6-packs, which they pack into bags with instructions for reheating.

New Augusta restaurant State Lunch has a wide-ranging take out menu offered from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. that includes kung pao Brussels sprouts, a classic patty melt, chicken and waffles, and ramen bowls. Free delivery for orders over $25 is available in certain areas. Call 207-213-6025.

Black Cow in Portland is offering touch-free curbside takeout of its entire menu online at and by phone at 207-772-7774, as well as delivery through the 2 Dine In app and Available Wednesday through Sunday from noon-10 p.m.

Ninety Nine Restaurants in Auburn, Augusta, Biddeford, and Topsham have a number of options for curbside pickup, including recently rolled-out family-style meals for up to five people to share. Order online and pickup from 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

Nina June in Rockport is doing take out Wednesday through Saturday. Pick up from is from 4pm – 6pm, with a cut off time for ordering at 2pm.  The menu is posted daily on their website and Facebook page. They take orders via phone at 207-236-8880 or email [email protected].

Woodford Food & Beverage is helping to hold it down in Woodfords Corner in Portland for daily curbside takeout from 3 – 8pm, as well as working with Feeding The Frontline. Their current menu is on their website, and you can call them at 207-200-8503.

Solo Italiano followed in Woodford Food & Beverage’s footsteps to Feed the Frontline and are also supporting Stonecipher Farm’s new CSA effort with weekend pickups. Solo is offering takeout and delivery (including to the Casco Islands via Casco Bay Lines) Friday-Sunday every week. The daily menu is updated on their website.

Churchill Events is offering a Grab and Go takeout option for home dinners and businesses, including a full Easter dinner (order by April 10).

DaVinci’s Italian Eatery in Lewiston is offering curbside pickup Sunday to Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.


This huge list of Maine farms that are open for product pickups started with Allison Lakin of East Forty Farm and Lakin’s Gorges Cheese, and is now being maintained by the University of Maine Cooperative Extension: Agriculture. Click on the interactive map to find farms near you.

Fiore Olive Oils and Vinegars locations in Bar Harbor, Rockland, and Brunswick are open for curbside pickup of Italian pastas and risotto, Sicilian pesto, olives, jams and fruit butters, spices, and rubs, and of course their popular olive oils and vinegars. The company also offers free shipping through April 3. Order online here.

Local 188 in Portland is hosting Bowdoinham’s Stonecipher Farm in their parking lot for an open air, safe-distance, vegetable CSA program. Your $100 purchase will get you a four-week share of a box of organic vegetables, assembled by the Stonecipher staff that will include a mix of the following: potatos, carrots, parsnips, celeriac, radishes, turnips, rutabaga, onions, kohlrabi, Jerusalem artichokes, endive, frisee, chard, spinach, kale and mache. Time and Tide Coffee in Biddeford has coffee drinks, whole-bean coffee, and a small, rotating selection of local pastries and toasts as they are available from their bakery partners. Order online or call ahead: 207-571-9627

Erin French of The Lost Kitchen is opening up her Airstream as a pop-up grocery shop offering local produce, bread, eggs, yogurt, coffee, wine and more. Order on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for pickup on Saturday at the restaurant’s parking lot in Freedom. Be sure to treat yourself to some cookies from Sweet Monkey Business.

Open seven days a week, the farm store at Goranson Farm in Dresden provides certified organic vegetables and fruit, maple syrup, seedlings, cut flowers, eggs, meats, cheese and baked goods. Produce is available in pre-bagged and packaged options. You will also find the farm’s produce at local markets and farmers markets year-round.

All market items (including beer and wine) at Rosemont Market’s six locations—Portland, Falmouth, Yarmouth, and Cape Elizabeth—are available for curbside pickup and delivery. Complete the online form and they will call you to confirm your order, arrange payment, and provide you with a pickup time.

Update: Visit East Forty Farm in Waldoboro for Lakin’s Gorges Cheese, and forest-grazed, whey fed pork, but first, check what’s available, text or email your order and pay with Venmo, credit card, or check. Your order will be waiting in a cooler at the top of the driveway. Open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Friday from noon-5p.m.

The Lincolnville General Store is open daily from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. for curbside pickup and local delivery of prepared foods, wood-fired pizzas, groceries, beer, wine, toys, health and beauty products and kitchen and home essentials. Call orders in to 207-763-4411 or email [email protected].

Laughing Stock Farm in Freeport is selling its greens and other produce directly to consumers Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. Everything will be pre-bagged (as recommended by the CDC) in $3 and $6 bags. There are also eggs, pork, and stew chickens for sale.

Nezinscot Farm Store in Turner is open for pickup of bakery items, cheeses, meats, and prepared foods such as shepherd’s pie and mac and cheese. Owners Gloria and Gregg Varney also have natural immune boosters such as herbal tinctures, syrups, honey, and tea.

Atlantic Baking Company in Rockland is open from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. for scratch-made artisan bread, pastries, cakes, soups, sandwiches, and other lunch fare, and coffee/espresso drinks. They offer take-out, curbside pick-up, and free delivery within 10 miles of Rockland. Call 207-596-0505 to order.

Bucks Harbor Market in Brooksville is open for take out coffee, muffins, breakfast sandwiches, baked goods, and prepared food to go.

Dot’s in Lincolnville has complete meals to go—two pre-packaged choices daily (all $9), plus signature salads, breakfast sandwiches, quiche, and baked goods. The menu is posted for the week on Facebook and includes comfort food dishes such as meatloaf, haddock fish cakes and chicken pot pie. Call 207-709-7922 to order.

Monte’s Fine Foods in Portland has made-to-order pizza, grab-and-go dinners and sandwiches, as well as meats, produce, ice cream, and other grocery items. All customers are required to wear gloves, which are provided. Credit cards only. Open from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Pineland Farms Market in New Gloucester is open from 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Weekends with prepared foods to go. Call 207-688-4539 to place an order in advance.

Wildflours Gluten-Free Bakery is accepting phone orders for pick up on the bakery’s porch in Brunswick. From scones and donuts to pizza, quiche, and bread, everything is gluten-free. Call 207-725-7973 from the parking lot, pay with a credit card, and your order will be brought out to the porch.

Solo Cucina Market in Knightville in SoPo is open for curbside and “walk-through window” pickup.

The Maine Coast Fishermen’s Association has launched the Maine Seafood Connection, a public Facebook group where consumers can find what’s available from local fishermen and fish markets.

Update: In an effort to sustain local fishermen, Gulf of Maine Sashimi is making its pristine fish available directly to consumers. Complete an online form for gray sole (this week’s offering), and pick up from a variety of locations between Wednesday, March 25 and Friday, March 27 (locations vary depending on the day).

Now through the month of May, the award-winning kelp company Atlantic Sea Farms is offering free shipping to all New England states. 

Emily’s Oysters, an oyster farm in Freeport, offers home delivery within 30 miles every Friday. They also typically have oysters available for pick up on weekends from the owner’s home in Bath, by prearrangement.

The HUB @ Pemaquid Oyster Company/Waldostone Farm (1005 Bristol Road, Bristol) has curb side pickup and offers farm-raised Pemaquid oysters, mussels, and are sourcing local crabmeat, clams, Gulf of Maine salmon, New Bedford scallops, American Unagi farm-raised smoked eel, and frozen Gulf shrimp. SoPo Seafood is a new Maine seafood company that is offering a seafood delivery service to the Portland/Greater Portland area. They can also pack and ship their seafood for overnight delivery. 


Shipyard Brewing has teamed up with Get Maine Lobster for a Lobster and Beer pairing: a six-pack of Shipyard beer of your choice and two live Maine lobsters for $19.99. Order online for curbside pickup at the brewery in Portland Tuesday through Saturday from 4 p.m-6 p.m. Orders placed before 3 p.m. can be filled the same day.

Update: 1820 Wines has teamed up with the Cheese Shop and Mill Cove Baking Co. to offer wine, cheese and cracker combos for delivery and pickup. Order online for deliveries in the Portland area Thursday, Friday, or Saturday and pickups on Saturdays from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Wine can be shipped to certain states and there is also a wine club with shipments in March, June, September, and November.

If you’re in the Portland area, Allagash on the Fly brings every packaged beer available in the brewery’s tasting room—including limited releases—to your door, cooled down and ready to enjoy.

Maine Craft Distilling can deliver its spirits, canned cocktails, and five, pre-batched cocktail mixers for you to pair with their spirits and enjoy in your home (in groups of less than 10, of course). Each comes with a bucket of ice, garnishes, and compostable cups. Delivery within the Portland city limits is available for $5, or curbside pickup at the location on Washington Avenue.

Beginning Friday, March 20, Funky Bow Brewery and Beer Company in Lyman will deliver its wood-fired pizza, six-packs, kegs, and glassware to Lyman, Kennebunk, Arundel, Dayton, Biddeford, and Saco. There is a $25 minimum order, and a delivery fee of $8 within 15 miles, $10 for 15+ miles.
