Running Into Yourself

MARJI ADAMS, 61, CUMBERLAND: I was never a highly competitive runner; I always just competed with my own times, trying to bring them down, but once you get to be a certain age, it starts going the other way. So you let that part go. What it comes down to every day is that you either do it or you don’t. It’s all about choices. But if you go down that road, you will never regret it.
