Goodwill of Northern New England’s Little Black Dress event

Last night I had the pleasure of being a model at Goodwill of Northern New England’s Little Black Dress event— and no, for the record I did not wear a little black dress. I did however have the honor of being invited to stomp the runway for an incredible cause, which is to support Goodwill’s Veterans Fund for Maine veterans and their families. The room at the Portland Ocean Gateway was packed and filled with positive energy. It was truly amazing to see such an incredible turnout for such a remarkable cause. The evening started with a silent auction and tray passed hors d/ oeuvres followed by a live auction and fashion show complete with a runway and a local group of diverse models featuring looks created from pieces found at Goodwill. With such a positive and palpable vibe it was difficult to not feel uplifted by the event and I was proud to represent the Brand Company as part of Maine magazine’s sponsorship of the event.
