The Wiscasset Bay Gallery started as a small, upstairs space on Front Street in Bath in 1985. One year later, we relocated to the historic ship-building village of Wiscasset, along the Sheepscot River. By 1997, the Gallery had expanded again to our current location on Main Street in historic Wiscasset Village. Our spacious exhibition galleries, wide pine floors, and brick-lined walls showcase fine American and European paintings from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries, including works by William Trost Richards, Rockwell Kent, Jay Hall Connaway, S.P.R. Triscott, James Fitzgerald, John Fulton Folinsbee, Abraham Bogdanove, William Zorach, and others.

Changing exhibitions of contemporary New England and Maine art are also featured on a monthly schedule.

Open year-round.
