Flat Iron Gallery, located in the heart of Portland’s arts district, offers contemporary art, sculpture, and jewelry from some of Maine’s finest emerging and established artists. The gallery, owned and operated by painter Matthew Welch, features monthly shows, as well as representation of artists on an ongoing basis.

We promote the work of artists on the second floor of Portland’s historic Hay Building across the street from the Portland Museum of Art. Our dramatic space and vantage point offer a special opportunity to showcase artwork in the best light.
