Philharmonia Quartett Berlin

The Philharmonia Quartett Berlin, composed of principal players of the legendary Berlin Philharmonic, enjoys a celebrated and critically acclaimed career, establishing itself among the world’s premier string quartets with over two decades of international concerts and a large and diverse discography. Returning to our stage for the first time in nearly 15 years, the quartet’s versatile and adventurous repertoire now includes over 100 pieces spanning from the classical period to the 20th century.

Mary’s Walk

Mary’s Walk began in 1999 as a unique way to recognize and remember Mary Kerry Libby, a much-loved member of the Saco-Biddeford community who passed away from Burkitt’s Lymphoma. What started as a simple memorial stroll through town with a few hundred people has evolved into a major community effort.

Camp Susan Curtis Leadership Celebration

The evening will begin with a reception, followed by dinner and a program. Camp Susan Curtis provides a tuition-free, outdoor, residential learning experience exclusively for Maine boys and girls, ages 8 to 17, who qualify for USDA free or reduced lunch. Removed from the stressors of economic hardship, campers learn the skills they need to succeed in school, in higher education and/or into the workplace.

Ms. Lisa Fischer & Grand Baton

Hailed as “transcendental!” by The Huffington Post, Fischer’s legendary duet with Mick Jagger on “Gimme Shelter” has become one of the great moments in pop music. Ovations audiences had their first taste of Ms. Fischer when she appeared with trumpeter Chris Botti in 2012. Ms. Fischer is joined by her inventive new trio, Grand Baton, for a concert that draws from an eclectic palette of influences, putting her stamp on Led Zeppelin, Little Willie John and recasting rock anthems from her tours with the Stones and Tina Turner.

The Maine Flower Show

The Maine Flower Show, owned and produced by members of Maine’s horticulture industry, is one of the biggest gardening and horticultural shows in the region. The Maine Flower Show will have 100 exhibits of plants, hardscape, arbor and garden supplies, hands-on workshops and seminars led by experts in growing and outdoor living.
