This Saturday, August 29th is the 3rd annual Islesboro Crossing to benefit Lifeflight of Maine. Swimmers gather from all over New England for the 3.1 mile swim to Grindle Point Lighthouse. Lifeflight of Maine is a nonprofit charity that provides care and transport to critically ill and injured patients everywhere in Maine.
